The Howa M1500 Mini Action in 6mm ARC is a compact, lightweight bolt-action rifle built for shooters who value quick follow-up shots and precise accuracy without excess weight or length. The mini action design is 12% shorter than a standard short-action, making it ideal for hunters working tight spaces, younger or smaller-framed shooters, or anyone who appreciates a nimble, maneuverable platform. Chambered in 6mm ARC—a modern intermediate cartridge that bridges the gap between .223 Remington and larger rifle rounds—this rifle delivers consistent performance at distance while staying controllable and affordable to shoot.
The 20-inch heavy threaded barrel gives you velocity and accuracy while the threading opens the door to suppressors or muzzle devices if you want to customize. That green dip finish is as practical as it looks: tough, rust-resistant, and right at home in the field or at the range. The forged lightened one-piece bolt with two locking lugs is a Howa hallmark—smooth cycling, fast lock-up, and reliable. Sling swivel studs are already installed, so you're ready to sling it and move.
Whether you're hunting mid-sized game, running steel matches, or just want a compact, accurate rifle that doesn't wear you out after a day in the field, the M1500 Mini Action delivers the accuracy and handling Howa is known for without the premium price tag. This is a rifle that works hard and doesn't complain.

What makes the Mini Action different from a short-action rifle?

Can I suppress this rifle?
Yes—the barrel is threaded, so you can add a suppressor or other muzzle device. You'll need to source these separately and ensure proper caliber compatibility.
