The Howa M1500 .308 heavy tactical chassis rifle delivers precision and modularity in a purpose-built platform designed for long-range shooters and tactical riflemen. Built on Howa's proven M1500 action, this 24-inch barreled rifle pairs a heavy contour barrel with a modern tactical chassis system, offering the accuracy and handling characteristics serious shooters demand without compromise. The red, white, and blue chassis design provides a distinctive aesthetic while the threaded muzzle accommodates suppressors or muzzle devices to suit your setup.

This rifle ships as a complete package: you get the barreled action, the APC chassis, a Nikko Sterling 4-16x50 scope already mounted and ready to glass, a bipod for stable shooting positions, two interchangeable grips to dial in your ergonomics, and three magazines to keep you supplied at the range or in the field. The 1-10 twist rate stabilizes a wide range of .308 Winchester projectiles, from lighter varmint rounds to heavy match and hunting loads. The H.A.C.T. 2-stage trigger breaks clean and predictably, and the 3-position safety integrates seamlessly into the chassis layout.

Howa backs this rifle with a sub-MOA accuracy guarantee—three shots into one inch at 100 yards—and a lifetime warranty, so you can send rounds downrange knowing your investment is protected. Whether you're dialing steel at distance, hunting big game, or running drills on a precision rifle course, the M1500 tactical chassis gives you a modular, accurate platform that's ready to work.

Frequently Asked Questions

What caliber is this rifle and is .308 ammo widely available?

.308 Winchester is one of the most common rifle calibers in the world, used by hunters, military forces, and precision shooters. Ammo is widely available from standard to premium match-grade loads, so you'll have no shortage of options for the range or field.

Is a scope included and what magnification does it have?

Yes—the rifle ships with a Nikko Sterling 4-16x50 scope already mounted, so it's ready to shoot right out of the box. The variable 4-16x magnification suits both closer work and long-distance shooting.

What accessories are in the box?

You'll receive the rifle with the scope, a bipod, two interchangeable grips, and three magazines. This kit covers most of what you need to start shooting reliably and comfortably.

Can I suppress this rifle or install a muzzle device?

Yes—the barrel is threaded with 8x24 threads, so you can add a suppressor, muzzle brake, or flash hider depending on your needs and local regulations.
