The Hi-Point 9mm carbine rifle is a straightforward, budget-friendly option for shooters looking for an affordable platform that fires common 9mm ammunition. Built with a 19-inch barrel and chambered for 9mm, this carbine delivers the ergonomics and sight radius of a rifle platform in a package that won't break the bank. It's a no-frills tool for plinking, informal target shooting, or exploring carbine handling without a heavy investment—and it comes ready to shoot with a 10-round magazine and basic accessories included.

The rifle is constructed around a black molded polymer stock rated for all-weather use. At 6.25 pounds and 34 inches overall, it's light enough to handle for extended range sessions but substantial enough to feel like a real rifle. The barrel is threaded 1/2 x 28 for future accessory compatibility. A thumb magazine release, fully adjustable rear peep and post front sights, and manual safety round out the controls—nothing fancy, but everything you need to operate the gun safely and effectively.

Hi-Point rates this carbine for +P ammunition, so you're not limited to standard loads. The design includes an internal recoil buffer in the stock to help manage impulse, and the last-round lock-open function lets you know when you're empty. Picatinny rails are integrated for mounting optics or accessories if you want to expand capability down the road. All parts and assembly are made in the USA, and Hi-Point backs every firearm with a lifetime warranty.

This isn't a precision tool or a tacti-cool dream gun—it's honest, durable, and unpretentious. It does exactly what it's built to do: cycle 9mm reliably, point accurately with the factory sights, and keep shooting. Throw in the included trigger lock, sling, and swivels, and you have a complete, ready-to-use package.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this carbine compatible with 9mm ammo I can find at any gun shop?

Yes. The Hi-Point 9mm carbine is +P rated, meaning it's built to safely handle all factory 9mm ammunition. You're not locked into specialty or boutique rounds—standard off-the-shelf 9mm will work reliably.

What sights come standard, and can I mount a scope or red dot?

The rifle ships with fully adjustable rear peep and post front sights. Integrated Picatinny rails let you mount optics or accessories if you want to upgrade down the road, but the factory sights are capable out of the box.

What's included in the box?

You get the carbine, a 10-round magazine, a trigger lock, a sling, and swivels. It's a complete package ready to take to the range or use right away.

Can I use Hi-Point C9 pistol magazines in this carbine?

No. The 10-round magazine for this carbine is not interchangeable with the C9 pistol. Use only magazines designed for this 9mm carbine.
