The Heritage Manufacturing Range Side RS41020NI is a lever-action .410 shotgun built for shooters who appreciate classic handling paired with practical reliability. At 20 inches with a nickel-plated finish and wood furniture, it's compact enough for close-quarters work—whether you're hunting small game, running drills on the range, or just enjoying the timeless mechanics of a lever gun. This isn't a modern tactical platform; it's a straightforward, honest shotgun that points naturally and cycles fast.

The gun's design centers on ergonomics and durability. A leather-wrapped lever ensures your hand stays secure and comfortable during repeated cycling, while the adjustable rear sight and brass bead front sight give you a classic sighting plane that works for both deliberate aim and quick snap shots. The five-round capacity covers most hunting and practice scenarios without excessive weight or bulk.

Built from alloy steel with a nickel finish throughout, the Range Side resists corrosion and cleans up easily after a day in the field. The wood stock and forend feel solid underhand and manage recoil well for a gun this size. Chambered for both 2.5- and 3-inch .410 shells, it adapts to whatever ammunition you've got on hand. At just over six pounds unloaded, it won't tire your arms during a long hunt or a session punching paper.

If you shoot lever guns—whether you started with a .22 or a .30-30—the Range Side will feel immediately familiar. The action is smooth, the balance is neutral, and the sights are there when you need them. It's built to work, not to impress, and that's exactly what makes it worth owning.
