The Henry Long Ranger .243 Win lever action rifle brings modern practicality to a time-tested action that's earned its reputation in the field. Built on Henry's centerfire lever platform, this rifle pairs the smooth, intuitive handling of a lever gun with the precision and flat trajectory of the .243 Winchester—a proven cartridge for varmint work, medium game, and target shooting out to respectable distances. The 20-inch barrel strikes a balance between maneuverability and velocity, while the hard-anodized receiver and blued steel barrel stand up to the rigors of hunting and range work alike.

Where the Long Ranger stands apart is its modern ergonomics and practical features. The included scope mount and drilled-and-tapped receiver mean you're ready to glass up immediately; the transfer bar safety is intuitive and reliable; and the American walnut furniture gives it classic lines without sacrificing real-world durability. At 7 pounds, it's light enough for a day in the field, and the 4-round capacity is typical for lever guns in this caliber—fast enough for follow-up shots if needed. The hammer extension speeds up your lock time, and the black rubber recoil pad keeps your shoulder comfortable whether you're burning through ammo at the bench or hunting in cold weather.

This is a rifle that works: no unnecessary frills, proven action type, sensible weight and balance, and the accuracy you can achieve with a quality scope. Hunters who value reliability and a direct connection to their rifle will appreciate the lever platform, while shooters who demand precision have the mounting infrastructure to deliver it. The .243 is efficient and mild-recoiling, making it approachable for newer shooters or lighter-framed hunters without sacrificing downrange performance.
