The Henry Original Deluxe Engraved 3rd Edition .44-40 Win is a beautifully finished lever-action rifle that honors the heritage of classic American firearms. Built around a toggle-link lever action and chambered in the historic .44-40 Winchester cartridge, this rifle delivers the handling and charm of a 19th-century design with modern Henry quality. It's a natural choice for hunters who appreciate traditional aesthetics, shooters interested in vintage calibers, and collectors seeking a limited-production rifle with genuine engraving work.

The heart of this rifle is the octagon blued-steel barrel—a hallmark of classic lever actions—paired with a polished brass receiver that catches light beautifully. The fancy American walnut furniture and brass buttplate reinforce the period-correct look, while the engraved receiver elevates it beyond standard production. At 24.5 inches, the barrel strikes a practical balance between velocity and manageability, and the overall length of 43 inches keeps the package relatively compact. At 9 pounds, it's hefty enough to soak up recoil and settle into a solid shooting platform, yet not burdensome for a day in the field.

The rifle feeds from a 13-round magazine, giving you capacity without bulk. Sights consist of a folding ladder rear and blade front—traditional iron sights that work reliably without batteries or external corrections. The half-cock safety is period-appropriate, and the 1:36 twist rate stabilizes the .44-40 cartridge across a wide range of bullet weights. Production is capped at 1,000 units, making this a genuinely limited offering in the Henry lineup.
