The Griffin Utility Mount Explorr 224 is a purpose-built mounting system for shooters running Griffin Armament's .22 caliber and 5.56mm taper mount silencers. Built from 17-4PH stainless steel and fully heat-treated to H900 specs, this mount delivers the durability and thermal stability you need for serious rifle work—whether you're running suppressed precision rifle, tactical carbine, or general duty applications. The modular design accepts Griffin's complete ecosystem of suppressors and quick-detach solutions, making it a smart core component for any .224 Valkyrie, .223 Remington, or 5.56 NATO setup.

Rock-solid repeatability is the foundation here. Griffin's ECO-FLOW baffle system keeps point-of-impact shifts minimal, so you can dial in your zero and trust it holds. The low-profile design keeps your sight picture clean and your rifle's profile compact. Full-auto rating means this mount won't flinch under sustained fire, and the high-temp Cerakote finish protects against the heat cycles that come with rapid shooting or sound suppression. Whether you're threading on at the range or in the field, you get a system engineered to stay put.

Versatility is built in. The taper mount interface works seamlessly with Griffin's suppressor line, and the system supports CAM-LOK universal QD attachments, 3-lug QD kits, and A2/Gate-Lok adapters—so your mounting options expand as your kit grows. This is the kind of foundation piece that rewards long-term investment.
