The Griffin Armament DUAL-LOK MINI BREAK 5.56 is a precision muzzle brake built for AR-15 rifles that integrates with Griffin's quick-detach suppressor mounting system. If you're building a suppressed rifle and want minimal shift in point of impact, aggressive recoil reduction, and a rock-solid QD mount that requires no wear parts, this minimalist brake delivers. Machined from 17-4 stainless steel and finished with QPQ nitriding, it weighs just 2.3 ounces and stretches barely past 1.5 inches—preserving barrel whip and keeping your rifle responsive.

The DUAL-LOK system's genius is in redundancy. The brake features 60 precisely machined mounting grooves; the QD mount adds two locking positions offset by 3 degrees, creating 120 effective locking positions total. When you thread the suppressor mount on, the spring-loaded collar automatically engages one of those positions, locking your can down with zero play and virtually zero POI shift. Because nothing wears and no springs or o-rings fatigue, you get a mount that stays tight across thousands of suppressor swaps.

Compensating ports do the heavy lifting on muzzle climb while the brake includes a sacrificial baffle—that wears instead of your suppressor, extending your can's service life significantly. Every brake ships with a shim set for timing, and the wrench flats make installation and removal intuitive.
