Unlike older direct-thread designs, this patented QD system delivers faster attachment and removal with a more secure lock-up—critical for shooters who run multiple hosts or need reliable suppressor repeatability between sessions. The CAM-LOK uses a forward taper that mates with the piston to minimize baffle strikes and reduce end-cap wear, a real advantage if you're shooting suppressed regularly and want to extend component life.
