Machined from 4140 steel and finished with melonite coating for durability and corrosion resistance, this platform uses a straightforward drop-in design that doesn't require permanent modifications to your pistol. The included hardware and torque specs (6 in·lb for plate-to-slide, 12 in·lb for sight-to-plate) ensure a rock-solid zero and repeatability. Forward Controls Design engineered this mount specifically for the Trijicon RMR—a proven red dot in duty and competition circles—and it ships ready to mount with all fasteners and a 3/32 Allen key included.
While the OPF-P320 was designed for the RMR, some shooters have found that Holosun's 507C, 508T, and 509T optics also function on the platform (using the adapter plate those sights ship with). Forward Controls Design does not guarantee fit and function for non-RMR optics, so verify compatibility before purchase if you're planning to run something other than a Trijicon RMR.
