The 20 MOA rake angle is built into the base itself, which means you gain elevation adjustment room without using up your scope's internal turret travel. The full-width Picatinny slots are machined to MIL-STD 1913 spec (±.002"), so ring fit is solid and repeatable whether you run Picatinny or Weaver rings.
