The EGW Browning BAR/BLR Long Action 1-piece Picatinny base with 0 MOA elevation delivers a solid, American-made mounting solution for hunters and shooters running scopes on their Browning lever guns. This one-piece scope mount integrates directly onto your receiver with full-length Picatinny cross slots, giving you the flexibility to position scope rings exactly where you need them and mount accessories without limitation. The 0 MOA angle makes it the right choice if you're zeroing and shooting between 0 and 500 yards—typical hunting distances for most game.
Built in-house using precision machining, each mount is tumbled, sand-blasted, and Type III anodized for a finish that stands up to hard use in the field. A center channel reduces overall weight while often preserving clearance for factory iron sights—a practical detail when you want backup sighting options. Every component, from mounting screws to packaging, is manufactured in the USA. Installation is straightforward: torque the base to your receiver using 20 inch-pounds and a drop of blue threadlocker (sold separately), and you're ready to mount your rings.
This base fits Browning BAR rifles in all calibers, Browning BLR Long Action and Takedown models, BPR, Short Trac, and Benelli R1 rifles. Note that hole spacing varies, especially on older BLR models—EGW recommends measuring your receiver's hole spacing before ordering to confirm compatibility. The mount will not fit BAR MK3 DBM models with integrated rails or the BAR Short Trac Hog Stalker.
