The Diamondback DB9 Gen IV is a purpose-built micro-compact 9mm pistol engineered for everyday carry in situations where size and weight matter. At 5.73 inches long and a shade under 14 ounces, this striker-fired pistol is small enough for pocket or purse carry yet substantial enough to shoot reliably. The Jesse James Blue Cerakote finish on the polymer grip gives it a distinctive look that stands apart from the usual black-on-black carry guns, while the stainless steel slide with black nitride finish keeps the tool side business-ready and corrosion-resistant.
If you're building a deep-concealment carry loadout or need a backup pistol that doesn't print, the DB9 Gen IV does the job without compromise. The 3.1-inch barrel is plenty for defensive distances, the 6+1 capacity is realistic for a gun this size, and the short-reset striker trigger with a crisp 5.5-pound break is predictable on demand. The 3-dot sight setup is Glock-compatible, so aftermarket tritium or night-sight upgrades are readily available if you want them. The all-steel captured recoil system absorbs impulse cleanly, making this tiny 9mm pleasant to shoot despite its light weight.
Carry options open up when your gun is this slim—the 0.9-inch width slides into appendix rigs, ankle holsters, or deep-concealment setups without bulk. The flush magazine holds six rounds; add the pinky extension baseplate and you get a full four-finger grip without much added width. Whether you're dressing sharp and armed, heading backcountry with a concealed backup, or staging a second gun, the DB9 Gen IV is a no-excuses micro-compact that earns its spot.
