The Daniel Defense Delta 5 Pro in 6.5 Creedmoor with an 18-inch barrel is a precision rifle built for shooters who demand accuracy without compromise. Whether you're new to long-range shooting or stepping up from a factory hunting rifle, this tan-finished rifle delivers repeatable, sub-MOA performance right out of the box. Daniel Defense backs every Delta 5 Pro with a guarantee: it will shoot 0.5 MOA or better at 100 yards when paired with quality match-grade ammunition. That's not marketing speak—it's science, tested and proven.

Built on a mechanically bedded stainless steel action with a three-lug bolt and 60-degree throw, the Delta 5 Pro pairs precision engineering with practical features for competition and field use. The 18-inch varmint-profile barrel is forged from proprietary steel and finished in Cerakote for durability, and it's interchangeable—swap calibers or barrels when your mission changes. An Area 419 muzzle brake tames recoil and muzzle rise, while the integrated Picatinny scope base with 20 MOA of elevation lets you get on target quickly. At 11.7 pounds, it balances shootability with portability.

The chassis is built for serious use: adjustable length of pull and cheek riser (both tool-free), ergonomic thumb rest with left/right adjustment, and an AR-15 grip attachment so you can customize your fit. M-LOK attachment points line the forend and buttstock, with ten quick-detach sling points. An integral ARCA Rail (RRS spec) runs the length of the lower rail, and the bridge accepts extended Picatinny rails for thermal and night-vision optics. The scalloped cuts keep sight height low even with large-objective scopes. You'll get a Magpul PMAG 10 7.62 AC magazine and a protective Daniel Defense case.

The Timney Elite Hunter trigger is adjustable and two-position for safety control, and the removable 5/16-24 bolt knob lets you swap knobs to suit your preference. Whether you're running PRS competition loads or stretching distance on a distant hunt, the Delta 5 Pro delivers the accuracy to match your skill as you develop it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Delta 5 Pro suitable for competition shooting, and what divisions does it fit?

Yes. The Delta 5 Pro is built for precision rifle competition and fits within the Precision Rifle Series (PRS) Production Division limits, making it eligible to compete right out of the box. Its feature set—adjustable trigger, modular design, and guaranteed sub-MOA accuracy—supports shooters as their skills advance through competition.

Can I change barrels or calibers on the Delta 5 Pro?

Yes. The barrel is interchangeable thanks to the proprietary barrel nut and modular design. You can swap barrels or change calibers (the Delta 5 Pro is also available in .308 Winchester and 6mm Creedmoor) to adapt the rifle to different missions.

What optics and mounting systems does the Delta 5 Pro support?

The rifle comes with a 20 MOA Picatinny scope base. The bridge is compatible with extended Picatinny rails and supports thermal and night-vision optics. The scalloped cuts on the chassis allow for lower bore height even with large-objective scopes.

What comes in the box with the Delta 5 Pro?

You get the rifle, one Magpul PMAG 10 7.62 AC magazine, and a Daniel Defense Full-Latch Impact Plastic protective case.

Does the Delta 5 Pro require tools to adjust the stock and cheek riser?

No. Both the length of pull and butt pad height adjustments, as well as the cheek riser for height and drift, can be adjusted without tools, making field adjustments and customization straightforward.
