The Daniel Defense DDM4 V9 Quad Rail AR-15 is a 5.56x45mm rifle built for shooters who demand precision, control, and modularity in one package. Built entirely in the USA, this rifle pairs a 16-inch cold hammer-forged Government profile barrel with a 15-inch quad rail handguard that lets you extend your support hand close to the muzzle for better recoil management and faster target transitions. Whether you're running competitive shooting matches, training for defensive readiness, or putting rounds downrange at the range, the DDM4 V9 delivers the ergonomics and platform flexibility serious shooters expect from Daniel Defense.
The heart of this rifle is its mid-length direct impingement gas system, engineered to smooth out the recoil impulse so you can follow up shots quickly without sacrificing accuracy. The barrel itself is chrome-lined, 1:7 twist Chrome Moly Vanadium steel that's been HP/MPI tested for reliability, and the cold hammer-forging process creates a durable, consistent bore. The 15-inch rail gives you plenty of real estate for optics, lights, and accessories—mount your favorite optic on the upper receiver's M4 feed ramps, or run iron sights with maximum sight radius along the rail itself.
Receiver construction is mil-spec 7075-T6 aluminum, CNC machined and Type III hard coat anodized for durability in hard use. The lower features an enhanced flared magazine well and QD swivel attachment point; both upper and lower sport indexing marks for repeatable assembly. You'll get Daniel Defense's rugged buttstock and pistol grip in durable glass-filled polymer with soft-touch overmolding, a pinned low-profile gas block, and a properly staked mil-spec bolt carrier group. The rifle ships with a Daniel Defense Flash Suppressor (1/2-28 TPI) and includes a full-latch impact plastic case. Sights sold separately. Overall length adjusts from 32 1/4 inches to 35 7/8 inches via the 6-position receiver extension; the rifle weighs 6.59 pounds.
