CZ 75 9mm Pistol with 5.2" Barrel and Fiber Optic Front Sights, Black - Model 91266
CZ USA
The CZ AO-1 SD 9mm pistol is a competition-focused, steel-framed semi-auto built on the proven CZ 75 platform. With its 4.9-inch match-grade barrel, fiber optic front sight, and heavily reinforced dustcover, this is a serious handgun for shooters who demand precise trigger performance and minimal recoil disturbance during rapid fire. Whether you're running a sanctioned competition or training hard at the range, the AO-1 SD combines classic CZ ergonomics with purpose-built features that reward technique and consistency.
The frame is hammer-forged, CNC-machined, and blued—a traditional foundation that CZ has spent decades refining. What sets this model apart is the massively heavy dustcover, engineered to absorb recoil and muzzle rise without excess weight elsewhere. The trigger guard features 25 LPI checkering, a deep beavertail undercut, and an internal magwell that make the gun sit naturally in your hand. The hammer and sear are directly pinned to the frame, eliminating flex and ensuring rock-solid trigger pull consistency—DA breaks at 8–8.5 lbs, SA at 3–3.5 lbs. CZ Custom competition parts (Ghost hammer, short-reset disconnector, 85 gunsmith trigger, and extended firing pin) round out the trigger system.
The slide is CNC-machined from 4140 bar stock with front and rear serrations for positive purchase. The barrel is 416 stainless steel, match-grade, and hand-fitted for accuracy. The short dustcover design keeps the balance point forward, naturally supporting faster sight transitions without sacrificing control. At 47 ounces unloaded, it's substantial enough to manage recoil but not a burden for extended training sessions. The AO-1 SD ships with two 19-round P-09 magazines, giving you plenty of capacity to work with during practice or competition.

Yes. The gun is purpose-built for competition with a short-reset disconnector, 85 gunsmith trigger, extended firing pin, pinned hammer and sear for consistency, low-mount sights for a lower sight picture, and a heavy dustcover that minimizes recoil and muzzle rise—all features that support faster, cleaner shooting in timed matches.
The double-action (DA) pull—used on the first shot from a holster—breaks at 8–8.5 lbs. The single-action (SA) pull—used after the hammer is cocked—is much lighter at 3–3.5 lbs, allowing for precise, fast follow-up shots once you're on target.
