The CZ 75B 9mm is a steel-framed, double-action/single-action semi-automatic pistol that's earned its reputation as one of the most reliable and accurate duty and sport handguns ever made. With a 4.6-inch cold hammer-forged barrel, 16+1 round capacity, and a time-tested DA/SA trigger system, the 75B delivers the ergonomics and shootability that have made it the platform of choice for military, law enforcement, and armed professionals worldwide. This isn't trendy—it's proven.
Built on an all-steel frame with a durable black polycoat finish, the CZ 75B handles hard use without complaint. The slide-in-frame design absorbs recoil efficiently, and the double-column magazines keep capacity high without unnecessary bulk. Fixed three-dot sights come standard, and tritium night sights are available separately if you need low-light capability. Whether you're training at the range, carrying for duty, or competing in action sports, the 75B's smooth double-action first shot and crisp single-action follow-ups give you the control and speed that matter when it counts.
The combination of advanced safety features—manual safety lever plus a firing pin block—means you get peace of mind along with performance. At 2.2 pounds fully loaded and just 8.1 inches overall, the 75B is substantial enough to shoot well but doesn't demand a specialized holster or gear. CZ's hammer-forged barrel and superior materials engineering mean these pistols routinely outlast their owners' interest in them, making it one of the best values in centerfire pistols.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between the CZ 75B and other CZ 75 variants?
The "B" designation indicates this model includes a firing pin block safety in addition to the manual safety lever—a redundant safety feature that prevents accidental firing if the pistol is dropped. The 75B is the standard configuration; CZ also makes compact versions, decockers, single-action-only models, and alloy-frame variants, but the 75B is the full-size, all-steel platform.
Is the CZ 75B suitable for concealed carry?
At 8.1 inches overall and 2.2 pounds, the 75B is on the larger side for everyday concealed carry and is primarily designed as a duty, range, and sport pistol. CZ makes compact variants of the 75 platform that are better suited to IWB carry if that's your primary need.
Can I upgrade the sights to tritium night sights?
The 75B ships with fixed three-dot sights. Tritium night sights are available as a separate upgrade and are compatible with the pistol, though installation typically requires professional gunsmithing.
