Frequently Asked Questions
Is the CVA Scout V2 LR a rifle or a pistol?
It's a single-shot centerfire pistol. Unlike a rifle, it's designed to be held and fired as a handgun, but it delivers rifle-caliber ballistics and accuracy with the .300 Blackout chambering.
Can I swap calibers or use different barrels?
No. The Scout V2 Pistol is built as a dedicated single-shot in .300 Blackout only—there are no interchangeable barrels. If you need flexibility across multiple calibers, the modular APEX centerfire rifle is a different platform altogether.
Does it come with a scope?
It comes with the DuraSight Z2 scope rail pre-installed and ready for you to mount an optic. The scope itself is sold separately.
What does the threaded barrel mean?
The threaded muzzle allows you to attach a suppressor, muzzle brake, or other muzzle devices. This is especially useful for .300 Blackout, which is popular with suppressed hunting setups.
