The CVA Cascade XT 300 Win Mag bolt-action rifle is built for hunters and long-range shooters who demand precision without compromise. This is a heavy-barrel, recoil-managed rifle chambered in one of the most trusted magnum calibers in North America—ideal for elk, moose, and distance work where a flat trajectory and stopping power matter. The OD green and black web finish gives it a modern tactical look that doesn't sacrifice field versatility.
The Cascade XT's design priorities are accuracy and shooter control. A #5 taper fluted barrel adds rigidity and helps dissipate heat, so you can fire multiple shots in succession without thermal accuracy loss—a real advantage on the range or when opportunities come fast in the field. The radial muzzle brake meaningfully cuts recoil, making the rifle comfortable to shoot even in a heavy magnum, whether you're working prone on a bench or taking a standing shot in rough country. The tactical-style bolt knob gives you better mechanical advantage for fast manipulation, especially when you're working the action from a tucked-up shooting position.
The barrel is threaded 5/8x24, so you can add a suppressor, brake, or other muzzle device to tailor the rifle to your setup. The 1:10 twist rate is the standard for the .300 Win Mag and will stabilize the full range of factory and handloaded ammunition you're likely to use. If you're looking for a do-it-all magnum that handles recoil well and doesn't make you flinch or fight the gun, the Cascade XT earns its place in the lineup.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Cascade XT 300 Win Mag designed for?
The Cascade XT is a precision-oriented rifle built for hunters pursuing large game—elk, moose, and similar—as well as long-range shooters who value accuracy and shooter comfort. The heavy barrel, muzzle brake, and tactical bolt knob make it equally at home on the bench, in the field, or working prone.
Can I suppress or modify the muzzle on this rifle?
Yes. The barrel is threaded 5/8x24, which is the standard threading for .300 Win Mag. You can attach a suppressor, brake, flash hider, or other muzzle device compatible with that specification.
Does the muzzle brake really reduce recoil?
The radial muzzle brake on the Cascade XT is designed to meaningfully cut felt recoil. In a heavy magnum like .300 Win Mag, this makes the rifle more comfortable to shoot over extended sessions and helps you stay on target for follow-up shots.
What ammunition does the 1:10 twist rate stabilize?
The 1:10 twist is the standard for .300 Win Mag and will stabilize the broad range of factory and handloaded ammunition available for the cartridge. If you're unsure about a specific load, check with the ammunition manufacturer or your handloading data.
