The CVA Cascade SR-80 bolt-action rifle is a practical, modern take on scout-rifle design—built for hunters and shooters who want quick target acquisition without the complexity or weight of a full-size hunting rifle. Chambered in 350 Legend, this rifle combines a short, handy platform with the speed and reliability of a quality bolt action, making it equally at home at the range, in brushy terrain, or on a varmint hunt where fast follow-ups matter.
CVA engineered the Cascade SR-80 around genuine ergonomics for a working rifle. The 70-degree bolt throw cycles smoothly without removing your cheek from the stock—a small detail that adds up over hundreds of shots. Length of pull is adjustable via a removable spacer, so whether you're in a bulky jacket or shooting in shirtsleeves, the fit stays consistent. The 18-inch threaded barrel (5/8x24 threads) accepts standard muzzle devices; it ships with a radial brake to help manage recoil and muzzle rise in rapid fire.
Sighting options are where the SR-80 really shines for versatility. A forward-mounted Picatinny rail lets you run a long-eye-relief scope or compact red dot without eating up sight radius—ideal for both traditional hunting and modern tactical approaches. Iron sights come standard: a Williams Gun Sights peep rear paired with an adjustable front post that includes built-in elevation corrections. You're not forced into optics dependency; you can hunt or compete with irons alone if you choose. The high-capacity magazine keeps you in the field longer between reloads, and the black Cerakote and FDE finish with black web is durable, low-glare, and professional in appearance.
This is a rifle for shooters who value function and affordability over hype—no unnecessary features, no pretense, just a solid bolt action that handles the job and then some.

Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of scope or optic works best on the Cascade SR-80?
The forward-mounted Picatinny rail is designed for long-eye-relief scopes and compact red dots. This setup keeps the scope ahead of the action—perfect for a scout rifle setup—and preserves your ability to use the included iron sights as a backup. You have flexibility here: traditional hunting scopes, tactical optics, or even a simple red-dot all work with this platform.
Can I use this rifle with a suppressor?
Yes. The 18-inch barrel is threaded 5/8x24, the standard for many modern suppressors. The radial muzzle brake can be removed and replaced with a suppressor or other muzzle device. Always verify compatibility with your specific suppressor before purchase, and check local regulations on suppressor use in your area.
What's included with the rifle, and what's optional?
The Cascade SR-80 comes ready to shoot with iron sights (Williams peep rear and adjustable front post), a forward-mounted Picatinny rail, a radial muzzle brake, a high-capacity magazine, and an adjustable length of pull spacer. You'll need to add your own optic if you want to shoot with a scope or red dot, and any suppressor or other muzzle device is a separate purchase.
Is the length of pull adjustable for smaller shooters or different gear?
Yes. The Cascade SR-80 includes a removable spacer that lets you adjust the length of pull to fit different body sizes and shooting setups—whether you're in a light shirt or heavy hunting jacket.
