The Colt Python .357 Magnum revolver is one of the most sought-after wheelguns in American shooting, and the 4.25" stainless steel model brings legendary Colt precision to a compact, duty-ready package. Built for hunters, sport shooters, and serious handgunners who demand reliability and accuracy from a revolver that'll hold its value for decades, the Python delivers smooth double and single action performance in a gun that handles as good as it looks.
The stainless steel construction resists corrosion in the field and at the range, while the semi-bright finish gives it that classic Colt character without the fussiness of high-gloss polishing. At 9.75 inches overall and just over 42 ounces unloaded, the Python balances shootability with manageable recoil when firing full-power .357 Magnum loads—though it handles .38 Special for practice or lower-recoil shooting. Six rounds of stopping power in a revolver that points naturally and breaks clean every time.
The gun ships with adjustable rear sights for windage and elevation tuning, a red ramp front sight, and walnut grips that feel as good in the hand as they look. Whether you're building a collection, setting up a home defense wheelgun, or looking for a reliable hunting sidearm, the Colt Python has earned its reputation through generations of use.
