The Colt Enhanced Patrol Rifle CR6762-EPR is a 7.62x39mm semiautomatic carbine built on the proven M4 platform, purpose-built for shooters who need a reliable, configurable rifle for home defense, patrol, or range work. This 16-inch direct impingement carbine strips away unnecessary complexity while keeping the features that matter: a flat-top upper for optics mounting, a modern handguard with accessory slots, and controls positioned for speed and ambidexterity in the field.
At 6.6 lbs unloaded and 32 to 35.5 inches overall (depending on stock extension), the CR6762-EPR balances shootability with maneuverability. The 16.1-inch chrome-lined barrel is finished in phosphate and rifled at 1:12 twist for the 7.62x39mm cartridge—standard for this caliber and proven for hunting, sport shooting, and defensive use. The receiver is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum with hardcoat anodize for durability, and the gun ships with Magpul MBUS Pro Series flip-up front and rear sights, so you're ready to shoot out of the box.
The Extended Centurion handguard features M-LOK slots for lights, lasers, or other rail-mounted gear, plus quick-detach (QD) mounts for slings. A B5 Bravo buttstock rounds out the package with its own QD sling attachment and length-of-pull adjustment. The ambidextrous safety and A2 pistol grip keep the gun handling smooth whether you're right or left handed. Load it with the included 30-round magazine, and you've got a semi-auto rifle that respects the AR platform's modularity without breaking the bank or your back.
Each rifle comes with the magazine, a cable lock, and the user manual. It's a no-nonsense platform that rewards good technique and plays well with most AR-pattern aftermarket parts if you decide to customize it down the road.
