No. The Rein 3.0 head cannot be used on older MCH lights due to enhanced thermal upgrades in the Rein 3.0 design. The increased heat output can damage the electrical components in MCH platforms. However, the Rein 3.0 is fully compatible with existing Scout Light mounts on the market.

What battery comes with the light and what are my options?

The Rein 3.0 ships with a branded Samsung 18650 30Q battery and a charger. You can use any protected or unprotected 18650 battery (button-top or flat-top), or CR123A batteries as an alternative. Keep in mind that CR123A use will result in performance degradation compared to 18650 operation. With an 18650, you'll get the full 1250 lumens and 65 minutes of runtime (per ANSI/PLATO-FL1 standard, measured to 10% original output).

How do I mount this to my rifle?
