The Cimarron Model P US 7th Cavalry .45 Long Colt single action revolver is a faithful reproduction of the sidearm that defined the American frontier and equipped one of history's most legendary cavalry units. Built on the Uberti platform, this .45 LC revolver captures the look, feel, and performance of the original service weapon—making it equally at home on the range, in cowboy action shooting, or as a centerpiece for serious collectors of authentic Western firearms.

If you're drawn to single action revolvers with genuine historical character, the 7th Cavalry Model P delivers. The 7 1/2 inch barrel strikes the classic proportion that gave this design its legendary handling and accuracy across open terrain. The old model case hardened frame is stamped with 7th Cavalry markings—a detail that honors the gun's storied past without compromising its function as a working revolver. The one-piece walnut grip carries the OWA cartouche, further grounding this piece in period authenticity. Standard blue finish on the barrel and cylinder develops character with honest use.

Whether you shoot Cowboy Action matches, hunt medium game, or simply appreciate a revolver built to historically accurate specifications, this Cimarron delivers the mechanical reliability and ergonomics that made the Model P an icon. At 2.56 pounds, it balances quick handling with enough heft to manage recoil and maintain sight picture through successive shots. The .45 Long Colt chambering offers shooters an unmatched range of reload options—from mild, accurate cowboy loads to full-power hunting rounds.
