The Cimarron Man with No Name .45 LC revolver is a single-action sixgun built for shooters who appreciate Old West character alongside practical performance. Chambered in .45 Colt with a 4.75-inch barrel and 6-round capacity, this revolver channels the spirit of classic frontier revolvers while delivering the reliability Cimarron is known for. Whether you're a Cowboy Action Shooter, a collector of period-correct firearms, or simply drawn to the aesthetic of Spaghetti Western legend, this is a gun that looks as good on the range as it does in a holster.

What sets the Man with No Name apart is the attention to detail: a case-colored frame, deep blue barrel and cylinder, and one-piece walnut grips inlaid with a coiled rattlesnake—a nod to the character's iconic look. The fixed sight setup keeps things simple and honest, letting your skill and trigger control do the talking. Built by Pietta of Italy under Cimarron's specs, this revolver combines Old West tradition with modern manufacturing standards, making it approachable for new single-action shooters while satisfying veterans of the breed.

The 4.75-inch barrel strikes a balance: long enough to deliver .45 Colt velocity and sight radius without the heft of a 5.5-inch model, making it equally at home in a competition rig, a collection, or a working holster. Single-action revolvers demand respect and deliberation—there's no safety button, no double-strike capability—just clean mechanics and the shooter's responsibility. If you're ready for that kind of firearm, the Man with No Name delivers both style and substance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Man with No Name revolver suitable for Cowboy Action Shooting?

Yes. The single-action design, .45 Colt chambering, and traditional ergonomics make it a natural fit for Cowboy Action competitions. Check with your local match for any specific category or equipment requirements.

What's the difference between the 4.75-inch and 5.5-inch barrel versions?

This model comes with a 4.75-inch barrel. The shorter barrel reduces overall length and weight, making it quicker to draw and easier to manage in confined spaces, while sacrificing some sight radius and velocity compared to longer variants.

Are replacement grips available?

The grips are one-piece walnut with the rattlesnake inlay as shipped. We don't have information on aftermarket grip options; contact Cimarron directly or a revolver gunsmith for custom alternatives.

Is this revolver safe to carry loaded?

Single-action revolvers have no integrated safety mechanism. Carry methods and safety protocols are the shooter's responsibility. Many users carry with the hammer down on an empty chamber (five rounds loaded) or use period-correct holsters designed for the gun. Consult qualified instruction before carrying any firearm.
