The Cimarron Firearms Co 1875 Outlaw .45 LC revolver brings authentic Old West character to the modern shooter. Built on the classic 1875 platform and chambered in .45 Long Colt, this 5.5-inch barrel revolver delivers the look and feel of a genuine period piece—without the compromises of a replica. Whether you're building a cowboy action setup, collecting Colt clones, or just want a single-action that turns heads at the range, the Outlaw splits the difference between historical accuracy and practical reliability.
The 1875 Outlaw wears its heritage on the outside: a color case hardened frame that shifts through blues, purples, and golds with handling, paired with a standard blued barrel and cylinder. One-piece walnut grips fit naturally in the hand and age gracefully with use. Six-round capacity and fixed sights keep things straightforward—you're not paying for features you don't need. At just 2.5 pounds, it's light enough for a full day of shooting but substantial enough to manage recoil without feeling whippy.
Cimarron has built a reputation by sweating the details other makers skip. This revolver is manufactured with the fit and finish you'd expect from a brand that takes cowboy action and traditional single-action shooting seriously. The .45 LC round is versatile, offering everything from target loads to stout hunting rounds, and the fixed sight platform is familiar to anyone who's shot vintage firearms or competed in SASS events.
