The Christensen Arms Ridgeline FFT in 7mm-08 Rem with a 20" barrel is purpose-built for hunters who refuse to compromise between weight and precision. The Ridgeline FFT delivers both by combining a 416R stainless steel barrel wrapped in aerospace-grade carbon fiber with a match-chambered, hand-lapped bore—meaning the barrel work rivals custom smiths, but Christensen arms has made it a production standard.
The receiver is a Christensen Arms precision-machined platform paired with a TriggerTech trigger, giving you a crisp, reliable pull straight out of the box. The FFT carbon fiber stock features bedding pillars and spot bedding for consistent barrel harmonics, while the spiral-fluted bolt and enlarged knob reduce rotating mass and speed up your cycling between shots. A removable stainless side-baffle brake manages recoil, and the action accepts standard Remington 700 optics bases—no special rings required. The magazine system comes standard as an internal 4-round magazine with aluminum hinged floor plate; it's also compatible with AICS detachable magazines if you opt for an aftermarket conversion kit.
At 20 inches, this barrel strikes a balance: short enough to handle in timber and from vehicles, long enough to maintain velocity downrange with the 7mm-08's moderate cartridge.
