The Christensen Arms Ridgeline FFT in 7mm is a titanium-framed backcountry hunting rifle built for hunters who pack deep into remote country. This isn't a rifle designed by committee—it's engineered with aerospace-grade materials and a relentless focus on weight savings without cutting corners on precision or durability. The 16.25-inch barrel keeps the package compact for brush and timber hunting, while the FFT (Flat Forged Titanium) receiver and carbon fiber stock make this one of the lightest serious hunting platforms available.
The barrel is Christensen Arms' proprietary 416R stainless steel wrapped in aerograde carbon fiber, hand-lapped and button-rifled with a match chamber for accuracy that won't quit. A removable titanium side baffle brake tames recoil without adding unnecessary weight. The action is purpose-built: a precision-machined titanium receiver paired with an enlarged, spiral-fluted bolt and improved bolt release that works smoothly even with heavy gloves. The billet aluminum bottom metal keeps things rigid while staying light.
Stock options include the FFT carbon fiber design with sporter profile, bedding pillars, spot-bedding, and a quality recoil pad. The rifle comes with a 4-round internal magazine (3 rounds for magnum loads) and Remington 700 optics base compatibility. If you want to run AICS detachable magazines, an aftermarket conversion kit is available. Thread pitch is standard 5/8x24 for suppressors and brakes.
