The Christensen Arms Ridgeline FFT 7mm-08 Remington is a premium bolt-action rifle engineered for hunters who refuse to compromise between precision and packability. Built around a carbon fiber wrapped barrel and FFT (Flat-Faced Technology) carbon fiber stock, this rifle shaves roughly a full pound off traditional designs without sacrificing the sub-MOA accuracy that defines the Christensen Arms name. The 7mm-08 Remington chambering delivers excellent stopping power on deer and mid-sized game while remaining manageable in recoil—ideal for long days in rough country where every ounce matters.

The action is where Christensen's engineering really shows. A TriggerTech trigger breaks cleanly and predictably, while the stainless steel side-baffle brake (removable for suppressor use or reduced report) tames recoil without adding unnecessary weight. The enlarged ejection port and improved bolt release make shooting smoother and faster when it counts. Internally, you get a 4-round magazine capacity with hand-lapped, button-rifled bore and match chamber—the kind of attention to detail that supports consistent accuracy from shot to shot.

Aesthetically, the Burnt Bronze Cerakote action pairs with a forest green stock accented in black and tan webbing, giving the Ridgeline FFT a tough, field-ready look. The stainless steel bedding pillars and spot bedding anchor everything for stability, while the recoil pad keeps shooting comfortable whether you're at the range or glassing for game. Standard Remington 700 optics base compatibility means you can mount your preferred scope without adapter rings. This is a rifle built for serious hunters who hunt remote country and need every advantage a modern platform can deliver.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Ridgeline FFT compatible with standard Remington 700 bases?

Yes. The rifle features a standard 6-48 Remington 700 optics base, so any scope base or rail designed for that pattern will fit without adapters.

Can I use a suppressor on this rifle?

The stainless steel side-baffle brake is removable, allowing you to thread on a suppressor if desired. Confirm the brake's thread pitch with the manufacturer or retailer before purchase.

What makes the Ridgeline FFT lighter than other rifles?

The combination of a carbon fiber wrapped barrel, FFT carbon fiber stock, and lightweight FFT carbon fiber components (floor plate and bolt knob) reduce overall weight by approximately one pound compared to traditional steel barrel and wood or composite stock designs.

What accuracy guarantee does Christensen Arms provide?

The Ridgeline FFT comes backed by the Christensen Arms Sub-MOA Guarantee, reflecting the company's confidence in the rifle's precision and manufacturing standards.
