The Christensen Arms Ridgeline FFT .30-06 Springfield bolt-action rifle represents a modern approach to hunting rifle design, pairing carbon fiber construction with proven accuracy to deliver a genuinely lightweight package without compromise. Built on a stainless steel action finished in Burnt Bronze Cerakote, the Ridgeline FFT sheds unnecessary weight through its carbon fiber wrapped barrel, carbon fiber stock, and carbon fiber floor plate—all while meeting Christensen Arms' Sub-MOA accuracy guarantee. This is a rifle engineered for hunters who cover ground: western mule deer stalks, backcountry elk trips, or any hunt where every ounce counts.

The barrel starts with 416R stainless steel, hand-lapped and button-rifled, then wrapped in Christensen Arms' Aerograde carbon fiber. A removable stainless steel side-baffle brake helps manage recoil and is included. Inside, you get a Trigger Tech trigger—smooth and predictable—mated to Christensen Arms' billet aluminum bottom metal and their FFT hinged floor plate. The action sports an enlarged ejection port and improved bolt release for faster cycling, while the FFT bolt knob (also carbon fiber) completes the weight-saving theme. All of this sits atop a Rem 700 optics base, so mounting glass is straightforward.

The stock is where the green finish really shines: Christensen Arms' FFT carbon fiber design in green with black and tan webbing accents. Stainless steel bedding pillars and spot bedding ensure the action stays put, and a quality recoil pad handles the .30-06's kick. Internal magazine capacity is four rounds for standard calibers. Whether you're after accuracy, pack weight, or both, the Ridgeline FFT delivers the kind of refined engineering that separates serious hunting rifles from the rest.

Frequently Asked Questions

What scopes will fit the Ridgeline FFT?

The rifle is drilled and tapped for Rem 700 optics bases (STD 6-48), which is one of the most common mounting patterns. Nearly all modern hunting and long-range scopes can be mounted with standard rings and bases, giving you a wide choice of glass.

Is this rifle available for left-handed shooters?

Yes, Christensen Arms offers left-handed options for the Ridgeline FFT. Contact us to confirm availability and placement.

Can I remove or replace the muzzle brake?

The stainless steel side-baffle brake is removable, so you can take it off if you prefer a bare muzzle or if you want to install a suppressor or other muzzle device (threaded configuration details are not specified; confirm with the manufacturer for threading specifics).

How much ammunition does the internal magazine hold?

The Ridgeline FFT holds four rounds of .30-06 Springfield ammunition in its internal magazine (capacity is reduced to three rounds for magnum calibers).
