The Christensen Arms Ridgeline FFT .308 Win hunting rifle brings match-grade precision to the field in a package that won't tire your shoulders on an all-day hunt. Built on a 20-inch carbon fiber wrapped barrel with Christensen's proven hand-lapped, button-rifled construction, this rifle delivers sub-MOA accuracy while shedding unnecessary weight—critical when you're covering elevation and distance. The FFT (Flat Front Foregrip) carbon fiber stock, black finish with gray webbing, gives it a purpose-built look that matches its no-nonsense capability.

Weight savings come from smart engineering, not compromise. The carbon fiber wrapped 416R stainless steel barrel resists heat and holds zero through rapid fire or repeated shots in challenging conditions. The removable stainless steel side-baffle brake tames .308 recoil without the visual weight of a traditional muzzle device. Internally, you get Christensen's billet aluminum bottom metal with an FFT hinged floor plate, TriggerTech trigger, and improved bolt release—details that matter when seconds count or precision demands it. The action ships in natural stainless (with left-hand options available), STD 6-48 Remington 700 optics base compatible, so mounting your glass is straightforward.

Christensen Arms stands behind this rifle with their Sub-MOA Guarantee, a promise that backs up what the design delivers. Stainless steel bedding pillars and spot bedding keep the stock stable shot after shot. The 4-round internal magazine (3 for magnum) keeps you low-profile in open country. Whether you're hunting western mule deer, elk at altitude, or running a precision rifle course, the Ridgeline FFT is built to perform when accuracy and weight matter equally.

Frequently Asked Questions

What optic mounting system does this rifle use?

The Ridgeline FFT is drilled and tapped for a STD 6-48 Remington 700 optics base, so it's compatible with most modern hunting scopes and rings designed for Rem 700 mounts. You'll need to supply your own optic and rings.

Is this rifle available for left-handed shooters?

Yes. Christensen Arms offers left-hand options for the Ridgeline FFT, though you should verify left-hand availability and lead times when ordering.

Can I remove or replace the muzzle brake?

The stainless steel side-baffle brake is removable, so if you prefer to shoot it without a brake or want to install a different device, you have that flexibility. Check the brake's threading to ensure compatibility with your intended replacement.

What makes this rifle lighter than traditional hunting rifles?

The Ridgeline FFT uses a carbon fiber wrapped barrel and a carbon fiber FFT stock (including the bolt knob and floor plate), which significantly reduce weight compared to all-steel designs while maintaining rigidity and accuracy. This weight savings is especially valuable on long hunts or in steep terrain.
