The Christensen Arms Ridgeline 6.5 PRC bolt-action rifle delivers serious long-range capability without the weight penalty most hunters accept. Built on a modern platform that blends carbon fiber construction with precision engineering, this 20-inch rifle is designed for hunters and shooters who demand sub-MOA accuracy in a package that won't slow them down on the mountain or across the prairie. The 6.5 PRC cartridge sits at the sweet spot between velocity, wind resistance, and recoil management—enough horsepower for elk and mule deer at distance, but controllable enough for repeat accurate shots.

What sets the Ridgeline apart is its obsessive attention to weight and balance without compromise. The barrel is a Christensen Arms 416R stainless steel core wrapped in aerospace-grade carbon fiber, hand-lapped and button-rifled for consistency. A removable stainless steel side-baffle brake manages recoil and muzzle rise while staying true to the rifle's clean aesthetic. The action wears a natural stainless finish and sits on a Christensen Arms FFT carbon fiber stock with integrated recoil pad and stainless steel bedding pillars. Every component—from the FFT hinged floor plate to the FFT bolt knob—was engineered to shed unnecessary ounces.

The trigger is a Trigger Tech, known for clean, predictable breaks. The action accommodates a 4-round internal magazine (3 for magnum cartridges) and features an enlarged ejection port for reliable feeding and extraction. Like all Ridgelines, this rifle backs up its performance claims with Christensen Arms' Sub-MOA Guarantee. The rifle is compatible with standard Remington 700 optics bases, so mounting your glass is straightforward. Left-handed versions are available, and the natural stainless action pairs with a black stock and gray webbing for a purposeful, modern look.

If weight matters on your hunts—and it always does—and if sub-MOA precision from a mid-range cartridge sounds like exactly what you need, the Ridgeline 6.5 PRC earns a hard look. This is a rifle built by people who understand that mountain hunting rewards preparation and penalizes excess baggage.

Frequently Asked Questions

What optics can I mount on the Ridgeline 6.5 PRC?

The rifle features a standard Remington 700 optics base (STD 6-48), so it's compatible with any scope rings designed for that platform. That covers nearly every quality optic on the market, giving you maximum flexibility in choosing glass that suits your hunting or range use.

Is the Ridgeline available for left-handed shooters?

Yes. Christensen Arms offers left-handed versions of the Ridgeline, so your natural setup won't require adapting to a right-handed rifle.

Can I remove the brake?

Yes. The stainless steel side-baffle brake is removable, so you can run the rifle with or without it depending on your hunting situation or local regulations.

What's the magazine capacity?

The Ridgeline has an internal magazine holding 4 rounds in standard cartridges and 3 rounds when loaded with magnum ammunition.
