The Christensen Arms Ranger 4.5 in .17 HMR is a compact bolt-action rifle built for precision shooting at rimfire distances. With its 18-inch barrel and black finish, this rifle brings serious accuracy to small-game hunting, target shooting, and varmint control without the bulk of a full-size centerfire. Christensen Arms engineered the Ranger 4.5 for hunters and shooters who demand reliable performance in a handy, maneuverable package—whether you're working predators on the property, taking game at rimfire ranges, or spending time at the range honing your marksmanship.

The .17 HMR cartridge delivers flat trajectory and minimal recoil, making it ideal for precision work on small targets. The 18-inch barrel keeps the rifle light and easy to handle in the field while maintaining the velocity and accuracy the caliber is known for. The bolt-action design ensures consistent, controlled shot placement every time—no need for semi-auto complexity when accuracy is what counts.

If you're looking for a dedicated rimfire rifle that doesn't compromise on build quality, the Ranger 4.5 proves that you don't need a heavy magnum to get the job done. It's the kind of rifle that rewards good technique and rewards you with clean, ethical harvests or tight groups at the target range.
