The Christensen Arms MPR Rimfire is a precision .22 LR rifle built for shooters who refuse to compromise on accuracy or versatility. If you've been frustrated by mass-produced rimfire options, this 18-inch rifle bridges the gap between casual plinkers and serious small-game hunters—combining match-grade engineering with a compact, packable design that doesn't sacrifice performance. The MPR Rimfire proves that rimfire shooting can be every bit as refined as centerfire precision rifle culture.

At the heart of this rifle sits a Christensen Arms carbon fiber tension barrel, precision-lapped and button-rifled with a match chamber—the kind of attention to detail you'd expect in a long-range hunting rifle, not a .22. The action is a custom-machined aluminum receiver with dual extractors and dual opposing locking lugs, topped with a 0-MOA optic rail and a TriggerTech trigger built to Remington 700 specs. That foundation alone sets the MPR Rimfire apart from everything else in its class.

The chassis system—built from 7075 aluminum billet—wraps around your rifle in modular fashion. You get your choice of a 10.5-inch or 14-inch FFT carbon fiber handguard with M-LOK slots, an adjustable FFT carbon fiber cheek riser for proper sight picture, and a folding stock with MagLock technology that actually gets your rig into a pack or truck bed. Adjustable length of pull runs from 12.5 to 14.5 inches, and six QD flush-cup mounts let you rig up slings or attachments however you shoot. The muzzle is threaded 1/2x28 for suppressors or brakes. An AR-compatible grip means your muscle memory carries over, and the monopod Picatinny mount is ready if you want to build outward. The rifle feeds from Ruger BX-1 magazines and ships with V-block bedding for repeatable accuracy.

Whether you're dialing in at an informal rimfire match, hunting squirrel and rabbit in remote country, or just enjoying precision shooting without the recoil and expense of centerfire, the MPR Rimfire is engineered to perform. Its 18-inch length and folding design make it genuinely portable—throw it in a daypack and go. This is what happens when competition-level rimfire thinking meets modern chassis design.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes the MPR Rimfire different from standard .22 rifles?

The MPR Rimfire brings precision rifle engineering to rimfire shooting. You get a match-chambered carbon fiber barrel, a TriggerTech trigger, a precision-machined aluminum receiver with dual extractors, and a modular chassis system—features rarely found outside competition-grade builds. The folding stock and packable design make it genuinely field-portable without sacrificing accuracy or adjustability.

Can the stock fold down for packing or travel?

Yes. The folding stock features a locking hinge with MagLock technology, allowing you to collapse the rifle into a more compact profile for transport in a pack or vehicle while maintaining repeatability and zero when unfolded.

What magazines does the MPR Rimfire use?

The rifle is compatible with Ruger BX-1 magazines.

Is this rifle ready to mount a scope right out of the box?

The rifle ships with a 0-MOA optic rail on the receiver. You'll need to add your own scope and rings, but the rail is ready for mounting without additional gunsmithing.

Can I add a suppressor?

Yes. The muzzle is threaded 1/2x28 (standard rimfire threading), so it's suppressor-ready with the proper adapter or suppressor.
