Product Overview

The Christensen Arms Mesa 7mm PRC bolt-action rifle with burnt bronze finish is purpose-built for hunters who cover serious ground in search of elk and other big game. Chambered in 7mm PRC—a modern magnum cartridge that balances power, velocity, and recoil—this 22-inch barreled rifle tips the scales at 5.5 pounds, making it a genuine backcountry choice for mountain hunts where every ounce matters. The lightweight build doesn't compromise on precision: a hand-lapped, button-rifled 416R stainless steel barrel in featherweight contour delivers sub-MOA accuracy guaranteed by Christensen Arms, while the seamless removable radial muzzle brake helps manage recoil on the mountain.

The Mesa runs a Rem 700-pattern action with a skeletonized bolt handle, enlarged ejection port, and TriggerTech trigger for clean, predictable breaks in the field. The FFT carbon-fiber stock pairs a sporter profile with stainless steel bedding pillars and spot bedding to keep the barrel free-floating and consistent shot to shot. Internal magazine holds 4 rounds (3 for magnum), with a hinged floor plate for easy access. The burnt bronze Cerakote finish on both barrel and action resists weather and glint without drawing attention—practical aesthetics for serious hunters.

Thread options (1/2"-28 or 5/8"x24) let you dial in your preferred muzzle brake or suppressor, and the optics base is compatible with standard Rem 700 rings and mounts. This is a rifle that rewards long-range fieldcraft and won't slow you down getting there.
