If you're running track meets, cross country events, or field competitions, you need a starter pistol that's unmistakably not a firearm—and the Charter Arms Pro 209 Starter Pistol delivers exactly that. Built on Charter Arms' decades of small-frame revolver expertise, this 209 primer-based starter pistol combines reliable function with high visibility. The bright orange frame signals clearly to athletes and officials that this is a competition device, not a real firearm, while the black rubber grips and exposed hammer give it a professional, purposeful feel.
The 209 primer ignition system produces the sharp report needed to start events cleanly and fairly. With a 6-round cylinder, you can run multiple heats without reloading between events—keeping your competitions moving smoothly. The sling swivel stud with ring lets you secure the pistol safely when it's not in use, and the spurred hammer gives you positive control over each shot.
Whether you're a meet referee, track official, or running a competitive event program, this starter pistol gives you a dependable tool that looks the part and performs consistently. The orange-and-black color scheme leaves zero ambiguity about what this device is, and the hammer design ensures confident, repeatable ignition shot after shot.
