The Charter Arms Pathfinder .22 WMR revolver is a compact, reliable rimfire option built on Charter's proven platform and finished in matte stainless steel for corrosion resistance and a professional appearance. Chambered in .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire, this six-shot revolver delivers more velocity and energy than standard .22 LR while maintaining mild recoil—making it an excellent choice for small-game hunting, target shooting, or backyard plinking. The 4.2-inch barrel strikes a balance between velocity and portability, and the double-action/single-action trigger gives you the flexibility to shoot fast DA or take deliberate single-action aim shots.
If you're looking for a lightweight, low-recoil revolver that's easy on the wallet and fun to shoot all day, the Pathfinder delivers. The adjustable sights let you zero the gun to your ammunition and shooting distance, and the rubber grip handles both DA and SA shooting comfortably. The matte stainless finish resists rust without the glare of polished steel, making it practical for range work or field carry.
Charter Arms has built these revolvers for decades with an eye toward simplicity and reliability. The Pathfinder isn't flashy, but it's a workhorse—the kind of gun you can hand to a friend who's never shot a revolver and trust them to figure it out in seconds. Whether you're introducing someone to rimfire shooting or adding a nimble little .22 Mag to your collection, this revolver earns its place.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is .22 WMR and how does it compare to standard .22 LR?
.22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire (.22 WMR) is a more powerful rimfire cartridge than .22 Long Rifle, delivering higher velocity and energy while still maintaining low recoil. It's suitable for small-game hunting and target work where .22 LR may fall short.
Is the Charter Arms Pathfinder a good beginner revolver?
Yes. The .22 WMR caliber produces minimal recoil, the double-action/single-action trigger is intuitive, and the adjustable sights allow new shooters to dial in their point of aim. It's an affordable, reliable platform to learn revolver fundamentals.
Can I use .22 Long Rifle ammunition in this .22 WMR revolver?
No. The Pathfinder is chambered specifically for .22 WMR cartridges only. Do not attempt to fire .22 LR ammunition in this firearm.
What does the matte stainless steel finish offer compared to polished stainless?
Matte stainless resists rust and corrosion like polished stainless but eliminates reflective glare, making it more practical for field use and less likely to catch unwanted light.
