The Charles Daly 512 is a classic side-by-side shotgun built for hunters and sport shooters who value tradition, reliability, and clean handling in the field. This 12-gauge break-action shotgun pairs hand-oiled checkered walnut furniture with a proven mechanical design, giving you a straightforward, dependable gun that won't clutter your gear closet with unnecessary gadgets. At 5.6 pounds with a 28-inch barrel, it's lean enough for a long day in brush or open country, and the chrome-lined bore promises durability against the elements.

The single-selective trigger with mechanical reset lets you choose which barrel fires first—a practical feature that works intuitively in the field and doesn't rely on batteries or complex systems. Manual safety and extraction keep operation simple and quick when it matters. The white receiver and gloss-blued barrel finish complement the walnut furniture and give the 512 a clean, functional look that never goes out of style.

Choke versatility comes straight out of the box: the five extended chokes (Cylinder, Improved Cylinder, Modified, Improved Modified, and Full) thread into Rem Choke compatible sockets on each barrel, so you can tune your pattern from close-range rabbits and clays to longer waterfowl work without buying a second gun. The brass bead front sight is simple and easy to pick up, whether you're shooting fast or taking your time on distant targets.

If you want a shotgun that's genuinely easy to live with—no frills, no learning curve, just proven mechanics and honest walnut—the Charles Daly 512 delivers that kind of straightforward reliability.
