Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Charles Daly 1911 case colored pistol suitable for carry?
Yes. The 5-inch barrel and single-action 1911 platform make it a viable choice for concealed or open carry, though you'll want to select a holster and carry method that works with the case colored finish and your lifestyle.
What ammo does this .45 ACP pistol use?
This pistol is chambered in .45 ACP, a widely available cartridge in both factory and reloaded forms. Standard .45 ACP ammunition will function reliably in this gun.
How many rounds does the 1911 magazine hold?
The Charles Daly 1911 comes with 10-round magazine capacity, which is the standard for modern 1911 pistols in most U.S. states.
What makes the case colored finish different from standard bluing?
Case coloring is a heat-treating process that creates a distinctive, multi-colored appearance (browns, blues, grays, and golds) on steel parts. It's both a functional finish and a visual signature of classic 1911 aesthetics.
