The Canik TP9 METE SFX is an optics-ready 9mm pistol built on years of real-world testing and shooter feedback. If you're looking for a modern duty or competition pistol that balances ergonomics with practical features—and doesn't ask you to choose between iron sights and mounting an optic—this FDE and black two-tone hits the mark. The SFX is the latest evolution of Canik's TP line, redesigned from the ground up to address what shooters actually wanted: easier takedown, better ergonomics, and a solid platform for electronic sights.
The 5.2-inch barrel delivers the velocity you need for 9mm ballistics without an unwieldy profile. Low-profile slide stop and an aggressively angled rear sight edge mean you can run the gun hard and still get back in action with one hand if it matters. The ergonomically redesigned beavertail fits hands naturally and keeps the gun under control during rapid strings. Strip it down with the push-pin takedown—no tools required—and you'll appreciate how straightforward Canik engineered the disassembly.
The optics-ready slide accepts Trijicon RMRcc and other micro red dots, letting you mount glass without permanent cuts. White three-dot iron sights stay on board as your backup, and that angled rear edge isn't just for show—it works for emergency one-handed manipulation. The TP9 METE SFX comes loaded: two magazines (18 and 20 rounds), IWB/OWB reversible holster, extra backstrap for fit, magwell, complete cleaning kit, tool kit, hard case, and two optics mounting plates. That's a working package out of the box.
Whether you're setting up a duty gun, building a competition rig, or want a reliable 9mm that grows with your optics plans, the METE SFX is engineered for serious use and priced to compete.
