The Browning T-Bolt Target SR .17 HMR is a straight-pull rimfire rifle built for shooters who demand accuracy and speed at the bench or range. This satin walnut-stocked target rifle combines the smooth, rapid cycling of a straight-pull bolt with the precision features serious rimfire competitors and varmint hunters expect. The T-Bolt Target SR delivers the kind of hands-on control that makes tight groups possible, shot after shot.
Built around a 20-inch bull barrel with 1/2-28 TPI suppressor threads, this rifle is suppressor-ready right out of the box—a thread protector is included to keep the muzzle clean until you're ready to run quiet. The heavy barrel profile minimizes whip and heat-induced elevation shift during extended shooting sessions, while precision barrel honing enhances the bore finish for consistent velocity. The matte blued barrel and action wear well under field or range use, and the straight-pull mechanism clears scope turrets without the sharp elbow motion of a traditional bolt, keeping your sight picture intact between shots.
The target-grade walnut stock features a raised cheekpiece and traditional point checkering for a secure, comfortable grip. The wide fore-end provides a stable platform for rest bags or bipod use. A 10-round rotary magazine keeps you fed through practice sessions, and the adjustable trigger lets you dial in the break you want for your shooting style. This is a .17 HMR—a cartridge that rewards precision with flat trajectory and minimal recoil, making it ideal for target work, small-game hunting, and varmint shooting where every shot counts.
