The Browning Maxus II Auric is a gas-operated autoloading 12-gauge shotgun built for serious waterfowlers, upland hunters, and clay shooters who demand reliability in challenging conditions. This 3.5-inch magnum-chambered semi-automatic delivers smooth operation and reduced felt recoil thanks to its gas system and purposeful design features. The 26-inch barrel with back-bored technology and nickel-teflon coating on critical surfaces means less maintenance headache and longer service life, whether you're hunting in salt spray or fresh water.

Comfort and control are engineered in. The composite stock features a SoftFlex cheek pad that absorbs recoil punishment without the harshness of plastic-on-face contact, while the Inflex recoil pad at the shoulder does the heavy lifting. Rubber overmolding on both stock and forearm gives you a secure, non-slip grip when your hands are wet or gloved. The stock is shim-adjustable for cast and drop, and can be trimmed to fit your length of pull—something you rarely see on production shotguns in this class. Oversized controls keep you in the fight with cold hands or thick gloves.

The Maxus II Auric wears Browning's new AURIC concealment pattern, built to break up your outline in the blind or timber. The fiber-optic front sight and ivory mid-bead make target acquisition quick even in low light. Three knurled, extended Invector-Plus choke tubes let you tailor your shot pattern to the situation, and a hard ABS case keeps everything protected in transit.
