The Browning Citori Composite 12ga 30" break-action shotgun is the modern evolution of one of the most trusted over-and-under designs in shooting sports. For fifty years, the Citori has been the go-to gun for hunters working upland fields and waterfowl blinds, as well as clay shooters grinding through tournaments and practice rounds. This composite-stock version keeps the legendary balance and handling that built that reputation, while trading traditional wood for a rugged synthetic stock and forearm that shrug off weather, recoil, and hard use in the field.

The receiver wears a durable blued finish and is anchored by a full-width steel hinge pin and tapered locking bolt—engineering that pays dividends in longevity and reliability. An engraved steel receiver adds character without sacrificing toughness. The composite furniture features rubber overmolding that locks your grip in place and absorbs punishment, while an adjustable comb lets you dial in your sight picture whether you're shooting from a bench or swinging on fast-moving birds. The Inflex II recoil pad smooths the 12-gauge's kick, and a floating rib with ivory bead and mid-bead setup gives you the sight picture you need to connect in the moment.

Factory-fresh from Browning, this gun comes fitted with three choke tubes—Full, Modified, and Improved Cylinder—so you can match your pattern to your target or game from day one. The 60/40 point-of-impact is classic for the platform. Whether you're heading to the range, the clay course, or the field, the Citori Composite delivers the performance and durability that made this shotgun a standard-bearer.

Frequently Asked Questions

What choke tubes come with this Browning Citori?

The Citori Composite ships with three choke tubes: Full, Modified, and Improved Cylinder. You can swap them to fine-tune your pattern for different shooting distances and game.

Is the composite stock weather-resistant?

Yes. The composite stock and forearm are designed to stand up to the elements far better than traditional wood, making this shotgun a good choice for waterfowl, rainy upland hunts, and extended field use. The rubber overmolding also improves grip when wet.

Can I adjust the comb on this shotgun?

Yes. The adjustable comb lets you raise or lower your cheek weld to dial in the sight picture that works best for you, whether you're shooting clay targets or hunting.

What's the 60/40 point-of-impact mean?

The shotgun is regulated to throw 60% of its pattern above the aiming point and 40% below, a configuration favored by hunters and clay shooters for its versatility across different shooting scenarios.
