The Browning Citori 725 Feather 26" 12ga over/under shotgun is built for hunters and clay shooters who refuse to compromise between weight and durability. Where standard over/under shotguns demand a toll on your shoulders and legs after a long day afield, the Feather cuts roughly 13 ounces from the gun's profile by pairing a lightweight alloy receiver with high-grade steel components where they matter most—the breech face and hinge pin. The result is a gun that carries like a dream without sacrificing the rock-solid reliability Citori is known for.

This 3-inch gun works equally well in the upland field and on the sporting clays course. The 26-inch barrels are quick to mount and transition, making it comfortable for fast-moving targets or sudden flushes. Browning dressed the Feather with Grade II/III walnut finished in gloss oil, accented engraving that doesn't shout, and an Inflex recoil pad that softens the inevitable punishment of lead loads. A simple ivory bead sight tops the rib—no fuss, just a proven reference point.

If you've ever felt the creep of shotgun fatigue before the day ended, the Feather's weight savings will feel like a revelation. And if you shoot sporting clays or hunt multiple days a season, that three-pound-plus difference accumulates into real comfort and better shooting. The mechanical trigger system is smooth and predictable, the alloy receiver design keeps recoil management in line, and the whole platform carries the pedigree of one of shotgunning's most respected names.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes the Citori 725 Feather different from other over/under shotguns?

The Feather uses a lightweight alloy receiver instead of the traditional steel found in most over/unders, saving approximately 13 ounces without compromising safety or durability. The breech face and hinge pin remain steel for maximum longevity where the gun experiences the most stress.

Is the 26-inch barrel good for hunting as well as clay shooting?

Yes. Browning designed the Citori 725 Feather as a true crossover gun that handles both upland hunting and sporting clays. The 26-inch barrels provide fast handling and quick transitions between targets.

What gauge and chamber size is this shotgun?

The Citori 725 Feather is a 12-gauge with a 3-inch chamber, allowing you to shoot both standard 2¾-inch and magnum 3-inch loads.

What comes with the shotgun?

The gun ships with Grade II/III walnut furniture, an Inflex recoil pad, and an ivory bead sight. No additional components beyond the shotgun itself are listed.
