The Browning A5 Wicked Wing 12-gauge semi-automatic shotgun is a modern waterfowler's rig built on legendary autoloader engineering. This 26-inch version combines the A5's proven Kinematic Drive System with purpose-built features for duck and goose season: a fully chromed bore for saltwater durability, lightweight aluminum receiver, and extended Invector-DS choke tubes designed specifically for waterfowl loads. The Realtree Max-7 camo pattern and Burnt Bronze Cerakote finishes blend function with a custom, standout aesthetic—no two gun counters will look identical.
What sets the A5 apart is its reliability across a full spectrum of loads. The recoil-operated action cycles everything from light target rounds to heavy 3.5-inch magnums without the fuss, making it as happy on the clay course as it is in the marsh. The composite stock features adjustable length of pull (up to 3/4 inch of total travel via included shims and spacers), so whether you're in a heavy coat or rolling sleeves in early season, you dial in a natural fit. Textured gripping surfaces keep the gun locked in your hands when they're wet or gloved.
The Wicked Wing's finishing touches matter in the field: an oversized bolt release reduces fumbling with numb fingers, fiber-optic and ivory bead sights aid target acquisition in low light, and that fully chromed bore resists the corrosion that comes with marsh use. The Vector Pro lengthened forcing cone eases the transition of shot into the barrel, reducing pellet deformation and improving pattern consistency. Browning backs the A5 with a 100,000-round or five-year guarantee—confidence that shows.
This is a working gun for serious waterfowlers and upland hunters who refuse to compromise on either performance or looks.

Frequently Asked Questions
What makes the Browning A5 different from other semi-auto shotguns?
The Kinematic Drive System is the core difference—it's a recoil-operated mechanism engineered to cycle a wide range of loads reliably, from light target ammo to heavy 3.5-inch magnums, without the hassle of manual adjustments. The A5's design balances fast cycling with soft recoil impulse, making it comfortable to shoot all day. Browning's 100,000-round/five-year guarantee backs up that reliability claim.
Is the A5 Wicked Wing designed for waterfowl?
Yes. The fully chromed bore resists saltwater corrosion, the extended Invector-DS Banded choke tubes are optimized for waterfowl loads and patterns, and the Realtree Max-7 camo with Burnt Bronze accents is purpose-built for duck and goose hunting. The oversized bolt release and fiber-optic/ivory bead sights are practical touches for cold, low-light marsh conditions.
Can I adjust the stock for fit?
Yes. The composite stock is shim-adjustable for length of pull (up to 3/4 inch of total adjustment), cast, and drop. Two spacers (1/4 inch and 1/2 inch) are included with lengthened screws to dial in your fit.
What choke tubes come with this shotgun?
Three extended Invector-DS Banded choke tubes are included. These are designed for tight patterns and efficient shot delivery in waterfowl and upland hunting.
