The Bond Arms Snake Slayer is a dual-caliber derringer built for backup defense and trail work where you need serious stopping power in a package that fits your pocket or pack. This .45 Colt/.410 derringer combines the knockdown authority of .45 Colt with the versatility of .410 shotgun loads—a combination that's earned respect among hunters, ranchers, and shooters who work in snake country or need a reliable secondary firearm. The 3.5-inch stainless steel barrel in satin finish balances shootability with truly compact dimensions, and at 22 ounces, it won't burden you on long days afield.
What sets the Snake Slayer apart is its practical engineering. The interchangeable barrel system means you can swap calibers to match your needs—keep one barrel loaded for .45 Colt and another for .410, or mix and match depending on the job. The spring-loaded cammed locking lever tightens the barrel-to-frame fit and speeds up loading and unloading. The automatic extractor (which works in both calibers) ejects spent rounds cleanly, while retracting firing pins protect against accidental discharge. A crossbolt safety keeps the gun secure, and the rebounding hammer adds another layer of security and reliability.
You're holding custom rosewood extended grips that give you actual control over a gun this potent—cramped grips turn a derringer into a flinch machine. The fixed sights are simple and fast, and the two-round capacity means you've got one shot per hand for the moment that matters. The satin stainless steel finish resists corrosion and blends into trail gear without drawing attention. Whether you're hiking remote country, working a ranch, or keeping a backup in the truck, the Snake Slayer delivers genuine defensive capability and hunting utility without the bulk.
