The Bond Arms Levergun .223 Wylde lever rifle represents a fresh take on manual-action rifle design, blending lever-gun simplicity with modern AR-15 platform familiarity. If you're drawn to lever actions but want contemporary ergonomics, AR-compatible parts support, and the ability to run modern optics closer to the bore, this rifle bridges that gap in ways traditional lever guns don't. Chambered in .223 Wylde (compatible with both .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO), the Levergun delivers versatility for hunters, sport shooters, and marksmen who value clean, predictable handling over semi-auto complexity.
The real story here is the mechanical design. A rotating bolt system inherited from AR-15 engineering provides strength and precision, while the manual lever action eliminates the gas tube—meaning you get sighting systems positioned nearly half an inch closer to the bore compared to AR-platform uppers, a genuine advantage for scope and red-dot setup. The magazine release feels and operates like an AR, so muscle memory transfers instantly; it's ambidextrous too, so lefties and righties both get natural handling. Controls include a crossbolt safety, grip safety, and the out-of-battery safety inherent to the bolt carrier design, giving you redundancy without awkwardness.
Build compatibility is extensive. Swap AR-15 barrels, bolts, and magazines to change calibers—.300 Blackout and larger-bore options are in the platform's roadmap. Magpul furniture comes standard, and the lever loop pairs with readily available Remington 870 stocks for user customization. At roughly 6.4 pounds unloaded with a 16-inch barrel and 39.5-inch overall length, it's handy in brush or vehicle. The 30-round magazine ships included, giving you modern capacity in a manual-action profile that complies with restrictive jurisdictions where semi-auto rifles face legal friction.
This isn't a nostalgia gun dressed in tactical gear—it's a purpose-built rifle that respects lever-action tradition while embracing the component ecosystem and ergonomic lessons learned from decades of AR development. Whether you're suppressor-hosting on a quiet ranch, running it in competition, or hunting where you want reliability without complexity, the Bond Arms Levergun .223 Wylde offers a genuinely different way to think about manual rifles.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Bond Arms Levergun compatible with AR-15 parts?
Yes. The rifle accepts AR-15 barrels, bolts, and magazines, allowing you to change calibers by swapping those components. While AR-15 upper receivers and handguards can technically fit, the design is optimized differently—particularly the elimination of the gas system and the repositioning of optics closer to the bore—so dedicated testing or fitting is advised before mixing upper receivers between platforms.
What stocks and furniture are compatible?
The Levergun ships with Magpul furniture standard. The lever loop is user-configurable and works with Remington 870 stocks, giving you flexibility to customize the feel and ergonomics to your preference.
What is included in the box?
The rifle comes with a 30-round magazine and Magpul stock installed.
Is this rifle suitable for suppressed shooting?
Yes. The manual lever action and elimination of a gas system make the Levergun well-suited for use with suppressors, and the design allows full magazine capacity even in short-barrel configurations—an advantage over traditional lever actions in this context.
