The Bergara B-14R Trainer in .22 WMR is a precision-focused rimfire rifle built for shooters who want real rifle fundamentals without the recoil or report of center-fire rounds. Chambered in the .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire cartridge, this trainer pairs Bergara's reputation for accurate, repeatable performance with an 18-inch carbon fiber barrel that keeps weight down while maintaining the rigidity serious shooters expect. Whether you're building marksmanship skills, training for hunting season, or running drills at the range, the B-14R Trainer delivers the accuracy and reliability that make practice worthwhile.
Carbon fiber construction on the barrel isn't just about saving ounces—it's engineered to handle sustained shooting without the harmonic shifts that can dog steel barrels. That consistency matters when you're working on trigger control, sight picture, and shot-to-shot discipline. The .22 WMR chambering gives you significantly more velocity and energy than standard .22 LR, with flatter trajectory and better ballistics for realistic field-shooting scenarios, yet remains mild enough for extended practice sessions without fatigue.
The B-14R Trainer is purpose-built for shooters who take their fundamentals seriously. Bergara's H600 platform has earned respect in the precision rifle community for attention to detail and no-nonsense engineering. This is a tool, not a toy—if you're serious about becoming a better shot, this rifle rewards good technique and won't forgive sloppy habits, making it an ideal trainer for intermediate and advanced shooters alike.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the .22 WMR cartridge good for?
The .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire delivers more velocity and flatter trajectory than standard .22 LR, making it suitable for small-game hunting and realistic field-shooting practice. It's a significant step up in performance while remaining mild for extended shooting sessions and skill development.
Why carbon fiber barrel for a trainer rifle?
Carbon fiber barrels are lighter and more thermally stable than steel, reducing harmonic shifts during sustained shooting. For a training rifle where consistency and repeatability matter, that stability helps you trust your fundamentals and ammunition rather than wrestling with barrel-induced variables.
Who is this rifle built for?
The B-14R Trainer is designed for shooters serious about marksmanship—folks training for hunting season, working on precision fundamentals, or running drills at distance. It rewards good technique and discipline, making it ideal for intermediate to advanced riflemen, not beginners.
