The Bergara B-14 Ridge in 6.5 PRC is a purpose-built hunting rifle that brings Spanish gunmaking precision to serious big-game hunters without breaking the bank. This 24-inch barrel model delivers the accuracy and reliability Bergara earned in the custom rifle world, now scaled for production and priced for working hunters. With a 2-round magazine capacity, the Ridge is engineered for deliberate, ethical hunting where every shot counts.
At the heart of the B-14 Ridge is Bergara's proprietary action—a smooth two-lug system with a sliding plate extractor and coned bolt nose that ensures flawless feeding and extraction cycle after cycle. The barrel, forged and finished in Bergara's own Spanish factory, is paired with a Bergara Performance Trigger tuned for a crisp, clean break. The action and barrel relationship is further refined by integral epoxy pillars molded permanently into the synthetic stock, creating a bedded platform that resists shift and supports consistent accuracy.
The Ridge stock is molded from glass fiber-reinforced polymer and finished in dark gray with a SoftTouch coating—a soft, tacky surface that grips firmly even in wet or cold conditions. The #5 4140 CrMo steel barrel wears a Graphite Black Cerakote finish and is threaded 5/8-24, ready to accept a muzzle brake or suppressor. The rifle is drilled and tapped for Remington 700-style scope bases, and comes factory-threaded for standard hunting optics. At 7.2–7.7 lbs, the Ridge balances enough heft for recoil management with portability in the field. The 6.5 PRC chambering offers long-range performance and a proven reputation among hunters pursuing elk and other large game at distance.
This is a rifle built to work. Bergara didn't chase trends or pile on features—they focused on what matters: a straight-shooting, reliable platform that will serve you well for decades of hunting.
