The Bergara B-14 HMR Left-Handed 22-250 Rifle combines Spanish precision craftsmanship with practical features designed for hunters and competition shooters who demand accuracy without compromise. Built at Bergara's renowned barrel factory, this left-hand rifle delivers the kind of mechanical quality usually found in custom builds, engineered into a production rifle that won't break the bank. The 24-inch barrel in 22-250 makes this a capable platform for varmint hunting and target work, while the left-hand action ensures southpaws get a rifle truly built for them—not an afterthought.

The B-14 HMR's integrated mini-chassis bedding system locks the action into the molded stock for repeatable accuracy, while the fully free-floated barrel lets it shoot to its potential without stock interference. The super-smooth B-14 action features a two-lug design with a sliding plate extractor and coned bolt nose for reliable feeding and extraction—the kind of mechanical attention that shows in every cycle. Your trigger arrives factory-set at approximately three pounds with a curved profile Bergara designed for a crisp, predictable break, and the rifle ships ready to mount optics with factory-drilled and tapped holes compatible with Remington 700 style rings and bases.

Ergonomics matter on a rifle you'll shoot all day: the adjustable cheekpiece and length-of-pull spacers let you dial in comfort and sight picture, while integrated QD flush cups in the stock make sling attachment tool-free. The #6 Graphite Black Cerakoted 4140 CrMo barrel wears a 5/8-24 muzzle thread with protector included, and you get a 5-round AICS-style detachable magazine in the box. At 9.5–9.9 pounds, the rifle balances portability with the mass needed for stable shooting.

Frequently Asked Questions

What scope mounting system does the Bergara B-14 HMR use?

The rifle is factory-drilled and tapped to accept Remington 700 style rings and bases with 6-48 screws. This is one of the most common mounting standards in the industry, giving you plenty of optic options from basic hunting scopes to competition glass.

Is this rifle suitable for left-handed shooters?

Yes—this is a true left-hand configuration, not a right-hand rifle adapted for lefty use. Left-handed shooters get a properly mirrored action and bolt throw.

What's included in the box?

The rifle ships with a 5-round AICS detachable magazine, muzzle thread protector, and spacers for length-of-pull adjustment. You'll need to source your own scope rings, bases, and optic.

Is the B-14 HMR accurate enough for long-range and competition shooting?

The integrated mini-chassis bedding, free-floated barrel, and Bergara precision barrel are designed to deliver accuracy suitable for both hunting and competition shooting applications. Real-world performance depends on ammunition, optics, and shooter skill.
